Remove
any loose debris from your pool cover
Use a hose and brush and clean your pool cover this will
prevent any mould growth and smell during the summer months.
Clean
copings and surrounding pool area
Hard brushing with water may not be sufficiant to remove
stubern stains from your copings / surrounding slabs and
tiles. If not, use a dilute chlorine solution, which will
help with the removal of slippery algae and halp restore
th original colour.

clinging to the walls.
Check
circulation & filtration systems (you pump and filter)
Filters
benefit from a periodic change of media. We would
also reccomend that your sand is cleaned chemically yearly
to remove grease and scale deposits.
Ensure
that your own testing apparatus/reagents give you accurate
results
Check stocks to ensure pH, chlorine and alkalinity tests
can be conducted and that existing test kits are clean and
that your reagents are not out of date.
